What you get with TRC
When you sign up to join TLC you are developing a relationship with Scott. Scott will coach your whole person. I will address your goals and needs. As in any strong relationship communication, honesty and trust are vital. You don’t need to tell me everything, but the more I know, the better I can help you with your running goals. And let’s be real here: these aren’t just goals, running and racing are our passion. In addition to run training the programing will include “pre-hab”, strength work, nutritional guidance, sleep, stretching and more.

To find meaning in your running. This is what differentiates my coaching from the other coaches services available online.
Let’s talk about injuries. They are part of the sport and most of us have experienced them to one degree or another in our years of running. My primary goal is to keep you healthy and will design a training program with that in mind. If you aren’t healthy you aren’t progressing and you aren’t happy. Neither of these are acceptable. I will do all I can to avoid this. Of course, you must also do your part: this is where communication, honesty and trust come in to play. My training plans are not static. They are not cookie-cutter. They are designed just for you and are dynamic in nature and will change based on your day to day progress. Communication is done via thorough logging of workouts as well as email, texting and voice calls when needed. Acute injuries such as turned ankles and falls sometimes happen. It’s the slow, chronic ones that we want to prevent.
